This weeks featured artist is Rachel Letofsky.

Seen here are a series of sketches from her "I'll sketch what I see on tv" period. Hinting at characters from the days popular culture, yet not to the point where she could be sued for using a copyrighted likeness, she was able to remind us of our shared experience and terrify us at the same time. Her chilling rendition of a man named Sta reminds us that sometimes it's alright to cry.

While the square-eyed Stew is a happy reminder that our adolesence is never to far behind us to not be remembered. As much as her sketches make us want to cry we are never too far from a great laugh.
And in one of her most famous works from that period, the stunning Fiance, she gives us her take on love in the moden day. Is it a man or woman? And who would marry it? What the hell is going on in this sketch? All that and a million other questions lead us time and again to only one answer: Rachel Letofsky.
